This is a 1930 copy of A Sentimental Journey through France and Italy, written by Laurence Sterne with Mahlon Blaine illustrations throughout, and published by Illustrated Editions Company, New York. The book was originally published in 1759, and is a caricature of a young man of fashion named Tristram Shandy. It was written in nine volumes, and this particular volume details Shandy's adventures in Europe. Four naughty illustrations, relatively tame text.
